Weekend Worker Ceramic Studio @
Clemenceau Avenue North
In this 4-hour workshop, you will learn to shape and create your own clay vessels from an electric wheel. You will also be introduced to the line of processes from clay wedging to hand forming completed vessels.
Due to the nature of clay, completed pieces will be fired and available for collection 2 - 4 weeks after the workshop. All completed ceramic pieces will be coated and fired with food safe glazes.
Each workshop can hold a maximum of 6 participants. We will begin with an introduction to ceramics over coffee/ tea and light snacks.
For participants to have a fuller hands-on experience working on the ceramic wheel, we have added an extra hour to our wheel throwing workshops. The workshop will begin with a 40 minutes introduction on ceramic process, supplies, materials sourcing and demonstration. For the remaining 3 hours, participants will be guided to create their works on the ceramic wheel. Depending on individual's progress, participants can usually produce 2 - 4 pieces of works.
Do note that workshop purchased is non-refundable. You may wish you get a friend to replace you if you are unable to make it.
